I have been given to permission from the bank of england to make a £10 out of silver as part of my subvert the familiar project. I am looking at value and how money is simply a promise, the paper is only worth a few pence, yet our belief in it makes it worth far more. I want to create a £10 note from silver a precious metal (which the bank used to use as a representative of moneys worth) I hope this makes people question what they value as it will differ for each of us.
